Our story

We are Michael & Amanda Cox and we own Cellar Creek Farm with our two little ones Benjamin & Addisyn. We are a veteran-owned and operated farm. We moved from Kernersville to Asheboro, NC in 2021 with a vision of a small farm for the kids to raise goats and chickens. That vision quickly grew when we purchased our first scottish highland Fiona in April of 2023. We immediately fell in love with her and purchased Ruby one month later. After halter breaking and a little work Michael had the idea to offer photographers the option to host sessions here at our farm. That immediately sparked a large interest and following which lead us to where we are now.

Many cows later, we are busier than ever between family time, kids school, ball practices, church, and Michael’s full time job. We try our best to share our journey as we learn to navigate home, farm, and now business life. We take pride in the chaos we call farm life and enjoy sharing our girls and being able to showcase different photographers.

We offer photographers the opportunity to bring their clients out for sessions. Along with off the farm wedding, special events & birthday party appearances. We also offer an Airbnb located here on the farm and are always looking for ways to give back to the community. Our hope is to be able to offer a unique experience with friendly fluffy cows that last you and your family a lifetime.
